You must first contact The Washington County Highway Department to get approval for your driveway. After you have an approved Driveway Permit, you may contact the 911 Addressing office to receive your 911 address.

To obtain a 911 address on a state road:

You must first contact the Indiana Department of Transportation, 5701 E. US 31, Clarksville, IN 47229 Phone#812-282-7493 to get approval for your driveway. After you have an approved Driveway Permit, you may contact the 911 Addressing Office to receive your 911 address.

To obtain a 911 address on a private road, street, lane or drive:

You must contact the Washington County Enhanced 911 Office.
